Patrick Galvin, Chief Galvanizer

Patrick Galvin Patrick has used his buzz marketing prowess to elect politicians, raise over $1 million for a non-profit organization, launch a successful new consumer products company nationally, build a large and profitable distribution network for an industrial product company in Canada and Latin America, increase the sales of an Internet commerce website from $600K to $1 million in one year, and quadruple sales for a furniture retailer in just three years.

Patrick began his media endeavors early hosting a radio talk show on a National Public Radio affiliate and contributing stories to radio stations around the country when he was a teenager. Currently, he writes articles about marketing that are published in newspapers, magazines, and trade publications throughout the world. A frequent and well-received speaker, Patrick enjoys sharing his insights, creativity, and enthusiasm for building business through buzz.

Patrick earned an MBA in marketing from Thunderbird in Arizona and a Bachelor of Science degree with honors from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service. He also studied at the Catholic University in Quito, Ecuador and the University of Sao Paulo in Brazil. He speaks fluent Spanish and Portuguese.

Patrick Galvin Ellen works closely with clients to develop customized, creative buzz marketing campaigns that benefit the bottom line. She has obtained coverage for clients in the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, Boston Globe, Los Angeles Times, San Francisco Chronicle, San Jose Mercury News, the Seattle Times, Newsday, Business Week, Forbes, Entrepreneur Magazine, Outside, HGTV, NBC, CBS, ABC, Fox and more.

Before co-founding Galvin Communications, Ellen was an Engagement Manager for Prophet, a San Francisco-based brand consulting firm. She managed projects for clients such as Allstate, British Petroleum, Wells Fargo, Jamba Juice, Levi Strauss & Co. and Discovery Channel. Before that Ellen spent seven years in financial services with Callan Associates Inc. in San Francisco and Morgan Stanley in New York City.

Ellen received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and French (Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa) from Hofstra University in New York and an MBA from the Walter A. Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. She also studied at the Sorbonne University in Paris and speaks French, German and Spanish.
